About the Fund
The Helping Hearts Fund (HHF) was established in 2008 by the Harpswell Islands School Community with the purpose of offering helping hands and financial assistance to families in need from our local communities and to support service learning and volunteerism among our youth. Since its inception the HHF has sucessfully provided needy area families with food, fuel and basic neccessity assistance. This tradition of planned giving and community support will continue on with the newly formed Harpswell Communuty School. Through its programs the Helping Hearts Fund hopes to inspire the generosity of others and empower those who share its vision with opportunities to give back to their own community.

An Inspired Heart
One of the first. These original Happy Memories Pins were created in memory of Allison and were the inspiration of her 5th grade classmates and former Harpswell Islands School art teacher, Betsey Bailey.
